Beti Hai Anmol is a key initiative by the Himachal Pradesh Government that kicked off in July 2010. This welfare program aims to lend financial support to girl children from below-poverty-line (BPL) families, but it only applies to a maximum of two girls per family. The government ensures that ₹21,000 is deposited for each girl into their post office or bank account. Beti Hai Anmol Yojna Eligibility

- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh and belong to a family classified as below the poverty line (BPL).
- Only two female children from each BPL household are eligible for this program.
- All BPL girls born after July 5, 2010, are entitled to receive educational benefits up to class 12.
- Additionally, a beneficiary girl must not marry before reaching the age of 18.
- Girls born after July 5, 2010, will be able to take advantage of this scheme.

Beti Hai Anmol Yojna Apply Process
Online Process

- Candidates may submit their applications via the online registration link. Once the form is completed, it should be submitted to the Anganwadi worker for processing.
- The Anganwadi worker will facilitate the opening of an account either at the post office or a bank. Upon reaching the age of 18, the full amount will be disbursed to the girl child.
- To apply for a scholarship after admission, parents must write a formal application to the school headmaster, who will then forward it to the project officer overseeing the Beti Hai Anmol Scheme for approval.
